Blessings
Title: 12 Blessings of Christmas

Designer: Lizzie*Kate

Details: I finished these up on December 23, 2006. They were stitched on 16 ct aida with DMC floss. For fast and easy finishing I purchased tuck pillows. The tree was already up and decorated and I didn't want to have to shuffle ornaments around, so you're seeing them hanging off my apothecary table! :)

Peaceful Forest
Title: Peaceful Forest

Designer: Bent Creek

Details: I stitched and had this one framed over 2 years ago (sometime in 2004). Stitched on fiddler's cloth with GAST. I had a spot in my living room all picked out for it... but that spot seemed too large for this piece. So I decided I would stitch Cabin in the Woods by Bent Creek to go with it. Here we are, two years later and Cabin in the Woods is a UFO. I went ahead and hung Peaceful Forest today and bought a framed print to hang with it for now!

Eventually I purchased one of the companion pieces off of eBay and received the third as a gift. All three hang by my front door to welcome guests.

Flower Power
Title: Flower Power

Designer: Michele Johnson

Details: This project was a disaster from beginning to end. It is from the May 1999 issue of Stitcher's World magazine. I started it in early 2000 and then put it aside. I misplaced the magazine and of course got the urge to finish the piece. Found out which one and purchased a second copy. Finished the project in early 2001. Took it to a major craft chain for framing and they completely messed it up. The stretching was crooked, the frame was wrong. They finally got it right and gave me a full refund. So in the end, this piece had a happy ending! I've since located my first copy of Stitcher's World magazine! :)
